Sales
Bliss Industries, Inc. sells factory direct to
all customers. We can help you understand how to best utilize our products in
the most efficient way possible. The factory is at your disposal for any technical
help you may require.
Order Entry
To insure proper order placement and reduce
errors, we require a faxed purchase requisition with a purchase order number,
item part numbers and quantities, ship to and bill to addresses with Bliss
industries, Inc. as the vendor. We cannot process an order without these. We
prefer a faxed purchase order and an original mailed to us.
Standard Lead Time
Standard lead time is 4 weeks after receipt of
order for standard products, custom products typically 6 weeks.
Fast Track
Shipping
Bliss Industries offers our “Fast Track” shipping program for customers that require
standard products immediately. There is a 30% expediting charge for this service on items shipped in 1 week or
less.
Shipping
All shipments are F.O.B. Factory (Milpitas, CA)
All shipments are sent freight collect via
your specified preferred carrier. All orders specified to ship freight prepaid
and bill will be charged an additional handling/billing fee of 20% of the freight bill.
On large orders, we recommend shipment via a blanket wrap carrier. This typically costs significantly more, but you will save a similar amount on handling, unwrapping, de-trashing, fully burdened labor, and the cost of hauling away the non-reusable pallets. This also virtually eliminates the chance of any freight damage. If you elect to use a blanket wrap carrier, they must supply the necessary labor and blankets to wrap and load the truck, Bliss Industries can supply this labor at additional cost. We also highly recommend the use of a truck with a lift gate.
Freight Damage
Every reasonable effort has been made to
protect Bliss products from freight damage during transit. However, on rare
occasions it does occur. Please instruct your receiving department to carefully
check the cardboard wrapping and the wood pallet to be sure these are intact.
In the event of any damage it is mandatory to note it on the original bill of lading upon
delivery. Carriers will not process claims without proper notation on the bill
of lading at the time of delivery. Bliss industries will help in any way
possible with a freight damage claim. However, we will not assume any financial
responsibility as all shipments are F.O.B. Milpitas, CA.
Terms of Payment
Net 30 days “strict” terms are available with
approved credit. Bliss Industries requires and expects all payments within 30
days of invoice date. Late payments will delay or stop new orders. All accounts
past due are subject to an interest charge of 1.5% per month or the highest
amount the law allows compounded monthly, plus legal and or collection fees as
required.
Returns
Please notify us within 30 days of any
discrepancies so we may resolve them quickly. If we made an error in your
shipment we will provide the correct item including inbound/outbound freight.
We want you to have only the products you need. If you ordered an incorrect
standard item or incorrect quantity, please return it by contacting our sales
department for an RMA number, however there is a 20% restocking charge and
returns must be shipped prepaid. Sorry, we do not accept returns on custom
items. We cannot be responsible for errors on your purchase orders; however we
review them to minimize the chance of an error.
