For customers that need slight modifications to our standard product designs rather than a fully “Engineered Solutions” product, we offer our “Modified Standard Products.” Custom sizes are one of the most popular requests. We do not actually modify existing parts; we build new parts to order with the modifications built in.

All of these modified products will require some engineering and review along with special setups on our machines in our factory.  Generally these “Modified Standard Products” are far simpler and much less expensive than a fully “Engineered Solutions” product to design and build.

These are typical examples of a Modified Standard project:

• Tray rail spacing or dimensions
• Spacing of slots or rails
• Width of a tray cart

If we need to redesign or test the product in anyway or, you find yourself asking the question “Will this work” it is not a “Modified Standard.”

We will provide you with 2D drawings with dimensions and 3D drawings for your approval and signature after receiving your purchase order and prior to manufacturing.  There will be no surprises.  Simple concept drawings can also be supplied prior to detailed drawings to be sure we both clearly understand what we have in mind.

Modified standard products that you have approved and signed off are not returnable for any reason, unless we made a manufacturing error that does not meet the approved drawing.
